The Kosi is the river you cross and follow when you travel between Ramnagar and the resort stretch of Dhikuli and Garjia.
The river and the road
The Ranikhet Road (NH 121) runs close to the Kosi north of Ramnagar. Several resorts advertise riverside views, and Garjiya Devi temple sits on a rock in the river.
Birds and quiet
Riverbanks and sandbars are good for spotting kingfishers, waders and raptors, and for a slower kind of Corbett morning. Always follow local advice near water, especially after rain (confirm with us).
