Garjiya Devi Temple stands on a large rock rising from the Kosi River and is one of the best-known places of worship in the Corbett area.
About the temple
The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Garjiya and reached by a flight of steps up the rock. A large fair is held around Kartik Purnima (confirm with us).
Planning a visit
The temple lies on the Ranikhet Road side of Ramnagar, close to Garjia and the resort cluster around Dhikuli. It combines naturally with a morning or afternoon that is not spent on safari (confirm with us).
